Britney Spears Makes A ‘Sticky & Sweet’ Cameo
Here are a few more pics from the opening night show of Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet World Tour which took place at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, UK last night … as you can see, Britney Spears was featured during a portion of the show (Kanye West was featured during a different portion of the show) in a video that she shot here in SoCal a few weeks ago specifically for Maddy’s tour:

A clip of Britney Spears’ video segment from Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour has hit the web. In the segment (which played while Madonna sang “Human Nature”), Spears is trapped in an elevator and whispers the lines “express yourself, don’t repress yourself.” The video ends with her saying, “It’s Britney, bitch.”
LOL! Britney is gonna ride that It’s Britney, Bitch! thing til the day she dies (it’ll prolly end up on her tombstone). In any event, this sounds like a great little collabo that Maddy and Brit Brit worked up together. Perhaps Madonna will be helping Britney out with her second attempt at a comeback later on this year. I’m glad that the ladies made up after their falling out a couple of years ago … it looks like bygones are bygones and all is right again. I think I’m finished with Sticky & Sweet World Tour spoilers … I’ve stayed away from the numerous photos that have made their way to the InterWeb of the Cardiff show, I’ve even stayed away from reading the tour setlist. From here on out, I want to remain as unspoiled as I can be … until I get to see the show for myself ;)

I really think these cameos are pointless. Just another way for M to stay relevant. While she IS an icon…every star falls and hers has been declining for almost 10 years.

I totally agree with Joce! Madonna knows she can’t get the younger audience as fans unless she has Justin Timberlake, Brittany Spears, Kanye, Christina Aguilera….(I’m sure there are more) some how linked in to her appearances, CD’s and concerts. Its time to retire.

I’m celebrating my one year anniversary at Madonna in Miami. I really think that at least one date Britney will perform Me Against the Music with Madonna. Everyone is going to know about this clip, but it would be a shit my pants moment if Britney showed up after “It’s Britney Bitch”

It was nice to see Britney in a role like that, not totally skankified in a bikini.
That was a good song Madonna chose for her to appear in. Really good, the meaning behind it was great. I love that song.

Madonna is an icon! No doubt about that. But I can’t help feeling that the doggedness with which she’s been pursuing this tour beyond all other things in her life (even, as it seems, risking divorce) does show that she knows it’s likely to be her last time of glory. Don’t get me wrong, she looks amazing for her age, but I can’t see her continuing to do this when she’s sixty. I think the clock is ticking for all of us, and even she can’t halt it completely. While I definitely do not believe that women “should act and dress their age” (which is what you do read in the comments sections of publications such as the Daily Mail), I really can’t see the same sort of performances being given by somebody ten years older. But, on the other hand, I’ll be happy to be proven wrong by her when the time comes…

what did brit do to her face? it looks like she’s had surgery. I agree with joce - anything to add to the media madness, madonna is just one of many exloiting brit for profit. they probably had to drug her just to get her to say her lines right. it’s for madonna to cover up a bit, I don’t care how great your body is your 50 and its a little gross.

While I agree that Madonna looks great for her age, why does she insist on running around without any pants? Was she going for the women’s beach volleyball look? She has three kids and one I’m sure is very impressionable. It’s time to put your britches back on and be a mom no matter what your vocation is.
