Britney Spears Celebrates Her Birthday/Album/Tour On ‘Good Morning America’

The circus comes to town
December 2nd, 2008

After a whirlwind promo tour of Europe last week/weekend, Britney Spears brought her Circus show to NYC for a couple of live performances on ABC’s Good Morning America this morning. David and I got our asses up bright and early to make our way to Lincoln Center to watch our dear Britney perform live (and I’ll have some of my pics to share later on today) and were on hand to watch the spectacle unfold right before our eyes. Britney’s GMA appearance wasn’t only a birthday celebration … it was also the official launch party for her new album Circus which is in stores TODAY as well as the venue to officially announce the tourdates for her upcoming The Circus starring Britney Spears Tour which will kick off in New Orleans, LA next March. Yeah, there was a lot going on this morning … here are a few pics of Britney’s two performances this morning and some deets about the event overall:

Britney Spears celebrated her 27th birthday Tuesday under the Big Top and before the TV cameras of Good Morning America. Dressed as a ringmaster, Spears made her entrance atop a circus wagon – accompanied by clowns, jugglers and performers dressed as circus animals. For her second number, “Womanizer,” Spears smashed through a fiery hoop. Afterwards, she announced that her concert tour would begin in New Orleans March 3. Then came the cake. The appearance, inside the Big Apple Circus tent within New York’s Lincoln Center, also marked the launch of Spears’s sixth studio album, Circus – her first CD since her 2007 comeback step, Blackout. As Spears announces on the title track (and delivered on GMA), “There are only two types of people in the world, the ones that entertain and the ones that observe.” GMA’s Robin Roberts called Spears’s appearance “our concert event of the year.” Claimed cohost Diane Sawyer about those gathered inside the circus tent, “There are about a gazillion people [here].” Among them: the pop star’s mother, Lynne Spears, and Britney’s two young sons, Preston and Jayden. Interspersed with the promos for Spears’s performance during Tuesday’s GMA were birthday greetings from the likes of Reese Witherspoon, John Travolta, Nicollette Sheridan, Teri Hatcher and PEOPLE’s newly named Sexiest Man Alive, Hugh Jackman – who sang “Happy Birthday” and blew her a kiss. “You look great,” Witherspoon relayed to Spears, “and I hope you have a great day.” Added Taylor Swift: “You have been officially awesome for 27 years.” On Sunday, Spears’s MTV special, Britney: For the Record, which documented some of her personal problems of the past year, was watched by more than 3.7 million viewers, according to the cable music network. Those are high numbers for MTV.

Seriously, this morning’s performances were truly a sight to see. The spectacle was totally worth getting up and out so early for. The production value, which I don’t think translated quite as well on live TV, was phenomenal. I am very much looking forward to seeing what sorts of tricks Britney’s got up her sleeves for her upcoming tour. Wade Robson, who is reportedly directing Britney’s new concert tour, was in the hiz this morning going over last minute touches right before she performed. It was all just very exciting to see her back in action. The crowd was just raucous the entire time … it was a blast. After the jump, check out video of Britney’s performances of Circus and Womanizer

Of the two performances, I think I really liked Circus better. Not only was it a totally new routine that we hadn’t seen yet but the addition of all the real circus performers really made it a fun performance. Womanizer was pretty damn good, tho …

… even tho it was basically the same routine we saw in Germany, France and the UK — this performance was BY FAR her best one yet. In person, she looked like she was having the best time. It was the most vibrant performance of the song yet (especially when she breaks it down during the breakdown). Honestly, just being in the tent with Britney was a thrill … it was just so much fun. Much love goes out to Jen who very graciously hooked me up with tix for this morning’s GMA performance!!! I’ll have a bunch more pics and more personal deets from this morning’s fun to post a little later in the day.

  1. Cherrylips Says:

CIRCUS IS #1 ON ITUNES WOOOT HAPPY BDAY BRITNEY I LOVE YOU & I LOVED HER PERFORMANCE TOO SHE KILLED IT

  2. Denise Says:

To me, it looked like she was hardly moving when she danced. But maybe, as Trent said, her performance didn’t translate as well on TV.

  3. Cathy Says:

    I love you Britney!!!

  4. Amanda Says:

    <3

  5. kristy Says:

are you kidding me trent? maybe you should rename the site Britney is the New Blog.. everything has been about her lately.. im soooo sick of her

  6. Lydon Says:

The looks on her boys’ faces while she performed are priceless. Many happy returns B!!!!

  7. Annie Says:

She looked way more comfortable in this performance of Womanizer compared to Germany. I think it was a really good thing for her to try it out in Europe first.

  8. Nitro Says:

Trent! You were sitting a section over from me! I wanted to scream out I LOVE PINK IS THE NEW BLOG. But I didn’t think you’d hear me! I had a great time too!

  9. Katie Says:

She seems to be slowly getting back into the groove of things.. but honestly, her performance wasn’t STELLAR.. It was good. It might have been better live due to the energy from the audience.

  10. Katie Says:

I do miss her old performances, though, when they were full of energy and PASSION.

  11. Monique Says:

Shut it… her performance was fierce. It just makes me mad that here and in europe, the producers keep cutting away during the best dancing parts. grrr.

I have faith she will be in top form in three months when i go see her in jersey. :):):)

  12. Kara Says:

I’m sure the energy in the tent escalated everything about the performance, but when I watched it on TV this morning I had flashbacks of last year’s VMAs. I don’t know… her heart just didn’t seem into it.

  13. MeGs Says:

Wow Great performances- she is really proving her haters wrong! I’m happy for her : ) : )

  14. Zara Says:

Trent, I love you for loving Britney! haha

  15. las Says:

I think she still looks really timid. I hope all this so fast isn’t too much for her. I wish her the best of luck.

  16. Cat Says:

I never do that but right now I’m effing crying..I?!! ‘m so happy to see this, I’ve waited for it so many years! Love her to death! And go buy the album now!!!

  17. Lana Says:

Yes I just bought 3 copies of Circus - 1 deluxe and 2 regular (all ringed out individually of course!). I got my tickets first for the Anaheim show (I can’t believe she isn’t coming to SAN DIEGO!) 4th row center seats! this is amazing I love BritBrit!

  18. Betty Says:

These were the best performances so far!
I’m not complaining, but just mentioning that the choreography done for britney is a little tame, I mean, she just walks around for half the time.

  19. Ashley Says:

I agree with Kristy. I love Britney and all, but this is Britney overload. You are making me sick of her, and that makes me sad.

  20. tOnnY Says:

Loved it, Of course it doesn’t look the Same On Tv, I’m a Dancer, and when i watch my Videos i get upset because i was dancing my Ass off and it doesn’t completly show on the videos, Anyway, I’m glad you had a good time, and Britney did too, and the Babies were there, (those precious Little things) and OMG trent, you need to talk about her Body, she looked fierce, those Abs Jeez!!!!!!

    Britney i love you!!!!

  21. Jennie Says:

As a dancer I can say I was disappointed with the choreography , it was weak

  22. Heather Says:

Welcome Back Britney! I went out already to get my copy of the CD.

  23. L Says:

Completely mediocre. Enough is enough - lets give real talent a chance to shine through. How many chances is this girl going to get when she obviously isn’t taking any of it seriously? The dancing was weak - she knows it, her team knows it which is why they need a “spectacle” on stage to make up for everything Brit lacks.

Yay for a 27 year old with little talent, little education and the rights and intelligence of a small child.

Brit go home get your shiz together and come back when you are packaged!

Why do people love her - she can’t sing, can barely dance, she’s inarticulate, uneducated and lacks any common sense. Anyone could have performed what she did on GMA - anyone - it wasn’t special at all! Her & Paris Hiton make me sick.

  24. Trish Says:

I don’t really understand why ppl are so hung up on Britney. She looks average, she sings average, and her recent dancing is less than average. I know she has been through a lot but this is pathetic compared to her previous performances. She is not ready, nor do I think worthy, for a comeback.

  25. Boris Says:

YAWN. For someone who has such a great overall taste in music (our blog author) I don’t understand all the hype about Britney Spears. I really don’t. And I honestly don’t understand how one can justify the fact that she lip syncs buy calling her a “performance artist.” There’s a lot going on in the background but she’s barely doing anything. Oh, ha, I totally agree with L. I guess I don’t have to say the rest. She wouldn’t be anything on her own.

  26. Ashley H Says:

I’m Ashley H from now on trent, so many ashley’s out there hating! This was fantastic!!! I’m so jealous of you, Happy Birday Britters! :D

  27. Sydney Says:

I wish her well… and I wish she would ditch the midriff-baring wardrobe, it’s a little passé. She not 16 anymore and even 16-yr-olds are no longer doing the midriff-baring thing. She just needs a tiny upgrade to something fresher, sexy and womanly and up-to-date.

  28. John Says:

Wow. Lipsynching. Didn’t see that one coming.

Completely agree with L, Trish and Boris. The dancing was diabolical.

  29. Avi Says:

Thank you, Boris. She’s a complete creation. Do you really think she sits down and actually writes most of her supposed pop songs? I don’t. Everyone does it for her. Then, she sings with her bad voice and even worse dancing techniques. Still, I admit she’s fun and her song’s are fun for being very bad. Womanizer? Terrible song. She’s 27 now. Time to start singing grown up tracks and wearing more. Then again, look at Madonna at 50. And to Trent, can you stop with the posts about Britney every day, every minute. It’s constant overkill. Even Perez lets it go once in a while.

  30. AFP Says:

Wade is doing this tour? thats the guy she cheated on Justin with.. hhmmmm

  31. Kayla Says:

love it! just bought the album

  32. Kayla Says:

and holy shit her body looks amazing!

  33. scriven Says:

Trent, seriously Britney is not performing like she used to. I think sometimes you don’t report objectively. The dancing was terrible, I mean there was no dancing…when you think back to all her other performances and concerts…it’s like she does not know how to dance in heels ( or something). She was completely not “IN” the moment like she used to be. We know she does not sing live ( except at the very end) so I don’t understand why she does not dance…Almost reminds me of VMA 2007.

I hope she gets it back… otherwise her concert will be LONG and tedious with lots of walking.

  34. nae Says:

i didn’t care for the womanizer dance…she didn’t look all that into it. didn’t care for the high-waisted outfit either - bleh.
but she looks hot in the all black outfit! looks fantastic!

  35. Roxster Says:

AFP I had the same thought! I have to agree with everyone’s comments about her lackluster performing. Britney’s always lip-synced for two reasons. First, because her voice isn’t that strong and she doesn’t have much range so her songs are highly doctored in Protools for her albums so they’d be impossible to sing the same way live. and Second (the main justification from people) is because she is dancing. But she looks hesitant and is holding back despite alot of choreography that allows her to just walk and strut. She looks like she is marking everything, but this doesn’t really surprise me. So takent together the mediocre dancing and voice overs just make for a bad show…Also, all the promo pic’s we’ve seen (and magaine covers) she looks good, but not happy. Not to sound all Tyra but even though she is smiling, her smile doesn’t reach her eyes. She just looks vacant. I have to agree with Trent — this comeback is being rushed and I think even Britney feels that way too because even though she seems somewhat happy to be working again, she seems very unsure of herself. Hopefully the appearances she has made the past week and a half will help boost her confidence. That said, I think it was really cute how many other celebrities they got to tape her messages. Its cool so many of them from such a wide range of the entertainment world are supporting her.

  36. Rachel Says:

Trent always acts like the sun shines out of Britney’s ass but he’s the first to crucify someone with real talent like Christina for wearing red lipstick?! You expect Britney to not even bother singing one second of her songs live that was given, but her dancing??? That used to be her thing and today she was just kinda dancing around and looked bored to be there. If it wasn’t for the special effects, the performers and dancers she would’ve been just sad. She needs to stay home, relax, get healthy, take care of babies and grow her own hair out before she tries it again!

  37. Elise Says:

Britney could never sing - it was never about her being an amazing singer. She is a PERFORMER. Her live shows, music videos, and all-around persona were always over the top, sexy, and energetic - but she never got where she is for her musicianship (or complete lack thereof).

That being said, I am 100% behind her making a comeback. I was never a huge fan but after all she has experienced, it is clear that her family and her job (as she said so herself “On The Record”) are what gets her through life. Her new songs are (as they always were) over the top, sexy, and energetic. They are fun, good songs to dance to, which is what she has always churned out. I already purchased tickets to her tour and am expecting a great time.

THAT being said, I have to say she does seem a little disconnected during her live performances/appearances as of late. There is a vacant, vapid look to her that does not have nearly as much “spark” as it used to. Her dancing is good…but not like it used to be. I watched the Top 10 Countdown before the documentary and noticed how amazing of a performer she was in the late ’90s and early 2000s - you could see her passion in her facial expressions, body language, etc. She was always connected and “with it” - I don’t see that anymore. I hope she gets it back in time to put on one hell of a tour, but ultimately I hope she is happy with how her life is going.

  38. Sweet Says:

whats with you haters!!!Dont you have anything in life except on hating someone? Give it up already!!!Why do you even care if she is loves by millions!! Is it your loss? She makes us happy, she is a gift to us? Just here in the our country(Phils)..she is loved by millions.

  39. Frisa Says:

Pleeeeeeezzeee….SHE’S TOTALLY LIP SINKING IT and her dancing is awful. Her time has come and one…let it go people.

  40. mdu Says:

while i enjoy most of her songs, this morning seemed a little forced and looked as if she had only practiced a few times before she hit the stage. im not trying to hate, because we all know how great she was in her early years, but this album and tour may be a little soon. but i wish her all the best today and for her upcoming tour

  41. Presley Says:

Geez so many negative comments. For those of you who don’t give a rats ass about Britney, you sure spent enough time writing about her!! Looks like she’s been workin that ab lounge!!

  42. Tim Says:

I now officially own my very own copy of “Circus”! That video of Circus was INSANE! Still sad that she won’t be near me for the tour, but still she rocks my socks. Love to Britney on this amazing day!

P.S. To all those people bitching at Trent for all of the Britney posts, I ask of you “Why do you read them?” There’s a scroll button for a reason! The majority of us love Britney and come here for our updates do back down or scroll down. Thanks for all of the Britney updates Trent :-)

  43. nicole Says:

you know…as soon as somone says something honest about what going on with britney lately…there haters…theres a difference between being a hater and being truthful & some of you have to learn to except that - even you trent. how you britney fan can sit there and say this cd is her best work ever & the performances are great..im sorry but your crazy. shes lost the stage sparkle she use to have and i dont know how you guys cant see that. if the past week or 2 hasnt shown shes not ready for any of this, then i dont know what its going to take.

  44. nicole Says:

also…i get she has a nice stomach…but she needs to start covering up she would look alot hotter if she actually dressed like a 27 yr old. hell Maraih shows skin…you guys make her sound like an old hag…well brits not 17 anymore either..

  45. Avi Says:

YES, learn to except the truth! And of course we come here to read the news. We can’t avoid all of the Britney news, so don’t turn it around on us. Blame Trent! Love the site, very much so. But it’s always about Britney. Then again, sorry Trent. You seem a bit self absorbed so everything is about you–your dinners, your trips, and your love for Britney.I am not trying to hate on you as I’m sure you are awesome. But, the constant Britney posts and your plans are not needed 24 7. It just seems very narcissistic.

  46. It's Trent, Bitch! Says:

LOL! Then Avi, what are you doing here? Or, rather, send me a detailed list of what I should blog about on my blog and I’ll see what I can do.

  47. Avi Says:

Trent don’t get me wrong..I enjoy this site very much and I’m here for your great posts, not for your dinner’s at Chili’s LMAO..I’m just teasing, though..honestly. Yes, it does seem a bit self absorbed but you’re a gay in LA–I have to expect this. Ok another joke! I have to like a guy that might post about Brit way too much, but at least loves Siouxsie. So to answer your question–I’m here to read the comments, post, read the news, and to know if you’re flight to MI was not horrendous with some WeHo Queen sitting next to you :)

  48. christine Says:

whoa avi, you have a nerve!! why do you visit the blog then??

  49. Tracy Says:

Trent, you are a sweetheart. But…..she could pee onstage and you and everyone else would still say it was amazing and innovative. LOL. Once again her movements were slow and that was hardly great dancing in circus like I expected . :-(

  50. That Girl Says:

Stop complaining about Trent’s Blog. It’s his blog, go take the time to set up your own blog instead trying to dictate to him what he should have on it. Like a previous poster stated, scroll down if you are tired of Britney post. Some of you are so bitter because you are NOT Britney. The only reason people talk crap is because their life is crap. Period. I am not a Britney Stan but I appreciate her success and hope she has success in her future endeavors. Do your thang Brit…get that paper!

  51. *john thrasher Says:

Trent did you see yourself on TV!? I saw you and David when I was watching live at least 3 times!! Tivo it!

  52. Monica Says:

I second that - I love all the Britney updates Trent so please keep them up! I love that you “get it” when it comes to Britney - she’s a superstar and she always will be, but she’s also a sweetheart and deserves our support.

I think she’s coming back slowly so she is not at 100% yet but she is pretty close and Britney at 80% is still way more fierce than most performances these days so I am all for it. So excited to see her live!

  53. Paz Says:

Here;s a really good review of her documentary special: Did She Do It? by Choire Sicha from The Daily Beast
    http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2008-12-01/did-she-do-it/

  54. Monoizer Says:

    She’s GOD.

  55. Kristín Says:

i love britney and love this blog, it´s like my vitamin hehe i have to read this blog every day :)
I just hope that Britney will get that love and skill for the dance routines again because yes we all know she dont sing her song so we expect her to dance because we have seen her do it thousands of times before and know she can do it.

keep up with the britney posts :)

  56. JAY from NYC Says:

Listen Trent I could totally careless that u post things about Britney.. Im not a huge fan but I give credit where credits due. The Britney of old, totally rocked the house, I mean she used to make me want to get up and dance. Im sorry but today her body was HOTT!!! and for everyone that thinks she should cover up, Im sorry do u remember her body during the breakdown… UMM enough said. So I give it too u mama show it, u worked for it, own it.. but her dancing was soooo NOT Britney, and please dont make the excuse it didnt read well on TV.. Umm so why for years her other performances translated well on TV.. I just miss that spark, she may never be the Britney of 2000 but at least look as if you are enjoying the performance. Shes still my girl.. not hating, I like her.. but i cant give her credit on a stellar performance until I see one

  57. amy Says:

    trent love the britney updates!

im SO upset that i’ll be abroad next semester and won’t see her in concert!! she has a lot of work to do but i have no doubt that she’ll put on a bangin show!

  58. Talont Says:

Canadian critics pan the album -

The two remarkable things about Circus — the deluxe edition has bonus tracks and a DVD — is, one, how ordinary Britney Spears is.
She has a pleasant voice but is not a great or distinctive singer. There is little character here.
Circus is well-considered and manicured pop music but primarily anonymous, though occasionally it refers to the turmoil of a private life gone public, obsessively so.
The other thing is how Circus is a building block to an astonishing comeback. The suggestion is that if you are pathetic long enough, sympathies will turn in your favour. Spears hit bottom and the public cheered as she got up. Good for her. The media rarely are so charitable.
That’s where the well-considered bit comes in. Spears couldn’t afford to make any further mistakes, so Circus might make a joke about how her life has become a circus — which is made clear by the cover art and a poster — but it’s a safe record.
Circus gets off to a strong start with “Womanizer.” Nothing that follows is as powerful, but somebody must be choosing good songs for her.
She doesn’t seem bright enough to pick them on her own. In fact, Spears comes across as stupid and lacking insight.
“Womanizer” is the kind of track Giorgio Moroder might have produced with Donna Summer or Debbie Harry. Synths dominate and it veers propulsively toward disco. Not retro but sounding old-fashioned — even classic — anyhow. It sets the tone for a record Spears can’t match.

  59. Sevie Says:

Trent, people are just hating because you became very successful at what you do. I would LOVE to write a blog about celebrities all day for a living!! By all means am I indicating that this is an easy job, dont get me wrong. Dont listen to these haters, like other loyal pink readers like myself, I dont know why they even read your blog then. As for all the Britney news, I love the girl, and if it werent for you, I wouldnt know where to get my daily news of her. Keep up the great job! I heart you so much!! Come to Ft Lauderdale!!! I havent watched the performences yet, but I did TiVo it. The CD is crazy good, btw. The 3rd song is my favorite so far. Does anyone know where I can get the other songs like Trouble and others??

  60. Julie D Says:

    LOVEEEEEE IT!
    YAY BRITNEY! :)
    she looks incredible!

  61. R Says:

    So happy for her!!

  62. JoeyGirl Says:

i got tickets for new orleans, and i am freaking out im so excited!! come with me trent itll be fun ill show you around new orleans! :)

  63. Katie Says:

People who comment here hating on Trent for loving Britney and posting about her have REALLY got to let it go.
Either read the blog, and skip over parts you’re not interested in, or take your whiney asses over to Periz Hilton and read his blog.
Trent can post on whatever the hell he feels. If he wants to make a section on Britneys ass crack, then he damn well can. If you don’t want to read it- move on to the next post.

Complainers about Trent - grow up.
Complainers about Britney- skip over it.

  64. Erica Says:

as kick ass as this album is…..her performances suck! I much prefer the videos to watching her sad attempt at “dancing”. I would even prefer the fake holding of the microphone as if she’s fooling anyone into thinking she’s actually singing.
I’m not hating on the album — it rocks hardcore…i’m just hating on the performances…they lack any sort of passion or oomph.

  65. Lorraine Says:

HEY KRISTY–BRITNEY *IS* THE NEW BLOG.
If you don’t like you..you can geeeeet out!

  66. GoTrent Says:

Avi, instead of bitching about the stuff that TRENT writes.. GO MAKE YOUR OWN EFFIN BLOG.. If you cant stand reading the things he writes, then dont come here.. You are an awfully insensitive person.

  67. xstina Says:

i have always been a britney-hater but now i must bow my head in shame and admit that she killed it. GREAT JOB, BRITNEY!

  68. Avi Says:

And you are seriously lame, GoTrent. What are you , Trent’s #1 fan? Stalker? Scary name! And about bitching, what do you think Trent does on here, moron!

  69. Larissa Says:

OMG! She looks amazing and SO happy! I am very happy for her! I loved both performances. She’s not quite where she was before but she is getting so close! I would LOVE to go see her!

  70. lauren Says:

Gotta throw this out in response to Avi and others–I LIKE hearing about your daily activities. It’s fun to read about you shaking and grooving with celebs, and jaunting around the country/world on fun adventures. The personal touch is what makes this blog different (and better) than other gossip blogs. Keep it up and ignore the haters!

  71. lauren Says:

LOL at Avi 3:48. Again, it’s HIS blog, I think he’s allowed to do whatever he wants (include bitch, or rave about Britney, or whatever!)

  72. Elissa Says:

    hey Trent!
first of all, i totally saw you today!
you were sitting in the row in front of me at the circus (i was in row F)
and yes seriously that was an amazing performance!
    TEAM BRITNEY

  73. Katie Says:

I, for one, like to read about Trent’s adventures.. his flight delays and dinner plans. It’s HIS BLOG!

  74. AFP Says:

Ok on the note that she can’t sing… I used tro work backstage at aa place in Boston. Iv been there a couple times when she was getting ready to go out on stage. That girl can sing!!!

  75. Belle Says:

I loved Circus, it looked like a Wade Robson had a hand in the choreography and I love his work. If he’s doing her Circus tour it’s going to be hot.

I do wish she’d lose the heels. She looks uncomfortable dancing in them, and I think she previously danced mostly in sneakers.

  76. Belle Says:

Oh, and I love your personal posts! Personally, I really liked your old format where you wrote about the day’s goss and then wrapped up with your personal stuff. I love reading people’s personal blogs and I love gossip, so it’s nice to see those two things together. And it’s nice to know you’re a real person vs. one of the pap agencies just selling pics!

  77. lauren Says:

i love Brit. but i was disappointed. Its like she wasn’t dancing full out, you could see her counting. i think it would be better if she just got rid on the mic (no one really thinks she singing, and we still love her) so she can dance.

  78. erika Says:

    L.A.M.E.

  79. Shawna Says:

    BRITNEY HATERS ARE LAME.

  80. Sara Says:

Wow. We love you Trent, don’t change a thing. And we love Britney, and we love that you love Britney! People need to chill the eff out and stop caring so much about what Britney does if they don’t like her. Why expend your energy to be angry about something you can’t do anything about? He’s been posting about B alot because her album is just out, there’s promos everywhere! Just deal until it all simmers down, and accept the fact that since Trent is the one writing the blogs, he can write whatever he wants. And if he wanted to make EVERYTHING about Brit, well then that’s exactly what he could do. And if he wants to tell is everything about his day, then he can and YOU can choose to read it. Or not. Because he’s not going to care either way.

  81. Sarah :) Says:

I am a HUGE britney fan, and while I was happy with her performances…it is very strange to me that the dancing was not like we are used to seeing. She didn’t even seem to be doing the moves full out half the time. There were moments of great energy, but overall it wasn’t like she used to be. Still, it was TONS and TONS better than last year’s VMA performance, and she looks amazing!!!! But I am perplexed by her dancing. In her womanizer video and when she was rehearsing during For the Record, she seemed more into it. I’m not trying to say anything bad, I’m just wondering why the change. She is not that old, and she’s in amazing shape so I’m not sure what’s up???

hey… can people just remember that this girl has pulled herself from a very dark hole. she is also probably medicated which doesn’t help. yes, maybe her dancing wasn’t as good as it used to be, but at least she’s looking healthy and is doing something that hopefully can bring some happiness into her life. life is too short to critisize everything and everyone. be happy for the girl. remember what goes around comes around. give out some happiness and you will get it back, britney, well done for obviously working so hard. everyone mite not love it, but don’t let it knock you back down. its time you tried to smile properly again.

Hey Trent, Loves ya!! Dont pay attention to the haters! They fail to take into consideration that she just suffered a mental breakdown less than a year ago!! Keep up the Britney posts, so many of us enjoy coming here to read about her and yourself.

Now if only you would answer me on Twitter, LOL
