Are Hilary Duff & Mike Comrie Engaged?
Well now … what have we here? Hilary Duff and her New York Islanders boyfriend Mike Comrie were spotted making their way out of LA eatery Il Sole this past weekend and Hil was proudly showing off a new ring on her left ring finger … curious, no?
Pop star Hilary Duff was spotted wearing a ring on her left ring finger Friday night at Los Angeles’ Il Sole restaurant, which might mean that boyfriend Mike Comrie, a former Michigan hockey player, popped the question, reports celeb watcher Marc Malkin. Comrie, now with the New York Islanders, and Duff have been dating for a year. When asked whether they’re engaged, a representative for the singer-actress did not comment to Malkin. Last year, Comrie, 27, reportedly gave Duff a $100,000 Mercedes to celebrate her 20th birthday. She turns 21 on Sept. 28. He turns 28 on Sept. 11.
Could it be? Is Hilary Duff ready to settle down with her hockey stud? I can deffo see Hila-rie making a nice little married couple but … I dunno. What do y’all think?

Im also inclined to think the guy would get her a major rock to show off. I dont think she is the type to demand that but Im sure if he did engage it would be something with large diamonds. I get the feeling this isnt the engagement ring.

Not only is Comrie a hockey player, his father owns a multi-million dollar chain of furniture stores all across Canada. He’s worth HUNDREDS of millions of dollars.
He’s 5′7″ and hasn’t played on a first line since his Daddy bought his way into the NHL on a team he was a co-owner of.
He’s basically the Paris Hilton of Edmonton, Alberta.
