TMZ is reporting that Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are engaged to be married after the suave QB popped the question to the model beauty while aboard a private plane loaded with white roses … tres romantique!

Tom Brady proposed to Gisele on a private jet on XMAS eve — and she said yes. Our sources say Brady, who is famous for his QB skills and running errands for Gisele, proposed on a private jet that took off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and landed in Boston. There were four dozen white roses on board, as well as champagne. Along with Brady and Gisele were her parents. We’re told Brady was nervous before he popped the Q.

Awww … that sounds sweet … and what a great Xmas present! I had a feeling that Tom and Gisele would be gettin’ themselves hitched sooner or later. She’s had him wrapped around her finger for months now, and you can’t really blame him — she’s a stunning beauty. Here’s hoping the happy couple a lifetime of happiness … and a short engagement. I’d love the couple to seal the deal sometime in 2009.

According to the ever-reliable social networking site Facebook, it appears that congratulations are in order for Kelly Osbourne and her model fiancée Luke Worrall. According to Worrall’s Facebook profile page, the young couple have decided to tie the knot, y’all:

Kelly Osbourne is getting hitched. She is engaged to model Luke Worrall, he has revealed on his Facebook page. According to Britain’s The Daily Mail, he changed his online relationship status to “engaged to Kelly Osbourne.” Osbourne, 23, has been dating Worrall, 18, for about six months.

Now, before any of y’all run out to pick out wedding gifts for the happy couple, I’d caution y’all to wait and see if the couple actually makes it down the aisle. This Facebook announcement could just be a joke and even if it is true, Kelly O. has not been very lucky in love before. While tentative congrats may be in order, let’s keep the champagne on ice until we get more substantive confirmation. I realize that some of you may have *no idea* who Luke Worrell is (I just learned about this guy a couple of months ago). In happy nuptials news, longtime partners George Takei and Brad Altman finally took their stroll down the aisle together yesterday afternoon and entered the bonds of lawfully wedded bliss. You may recall that George and Brad were among the first California citizens who applied for their marriage licenses when same-sex marriage was legalized in the state back in June. This weekend, the grooms made it official with close friends and family to bless the occasion:

George Takei and his longtime partner, Brad Altman, were wed Sunday evening in a Buddhist ceremony in downtown Los Angeles. “All I can remember is what the priest said,” Takei told PEOPLE after the ceremony. “That this moment will never happen again. It’s something to savor.” Nearly 200 of the couple’s friends attended the event, which began as a kimono-clad koto player plucked out tunes on the ancient Japanese stringed instrument. Afterward, the couple sipped sake from red lacquer cups, then said their vows to one another while standing within a circle of yellow rose petals. A Scottish bagpiper led Takei, 71, and Altman, 54, to the reception on the grounds of the Japanese American National Museum. On the way, the couple, along with their maid of honor and best man (Takei’s former Star Trek co-stars Nichelle Nichols and Walter Koenig) flashed the “live long and prosper” hand sign to photographers and friends. “I was fighting back the tears,” said Nichols, who played Uhura on the Star Trek series. “But they came oozing out anyway. I’m so happy that they’re both able to legally proclaim their commitment to one another after spending the past 21 years together.”

Awww … I love these two together. It’s couples like this that make me so happy that same-sex marriage has finally been legalized in the great State of California. Much love and congrats goes out to the newlyweds … may they live long and happy lives together full of bliss and happiness. Mazel Tov!

UHHHH … whut? People magazine is reporting that Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson has gone and gotten herself engaged. Firstly, I had no idea that she was even seeing anyone seriously enough to be close to marriage. Secondly, I about fell my ass onto the floor when I learned who her new fiancée is. Did any of y’all watch the VH-1 “romantic competitive” reality TV show I Love New York (which was a spin-off of Flavor of Love, which was a spin-off of Strange Love, which was a spin-off of The Surreal Life)? If so, you might recognize J. Hud’s new hubby-to-be as the contestant who vied for Tiffany New York Pollard’s affection. On the show his name was Punk … in real life, apparently, his name is David Otunga:

Jennifer Hudson and boyfriend, David Otunga, have gotten engaged, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I can confirm that Jennifer got engaged to her boyfriend David on Friday night in L.A.” says the rep. Otunga, who is known as “Punk” from the reality show I Love New York 2, popped the question with a Neil Lane diamond ring on the Dreamgirls Oscar winner’s 27th birthday. The couple, who have been dating less than a year, both hail from Chicago.

I must admit … I’m shocked, y’all. I would’ve thought that J. Hud was worthy of someone better than one of Tiffany Pollard’s cast-offs. “Dating less than a year” has got trubs written ALL over it. I’m sorry, I’m usually very positive about these sorts of things but … I can only see wreck and ruin in the future for J. Hud and Punk. I mean … really?! No, I just can’t see this one working out. Channing Tatum showed off some smooth moves in Step Up, but nothing compares to the proposal he choreographed for his girlfriend Jenna Dewan. Over the weekend, Tatum asked her to marry him in Maui in front of close friends invited under the radar to surprise Dewan, a source confirms exclusively to PEOPLE. He presented a ring by Neil Lane. The Cullman, Ala., native first met Dewan, 27, on the set of their 2006 dance hit Step Up, but the pair has always remained coy about their dating life.

Aww … well, I suppose congrats are in order ;) I keed, I keed … I am very happy that Channing and Jenna have decided to make it official. They make a very cute couple and they always look so happy together. I was able to see the two of them gettin’ all cozy together at the premiere event for Stop-Loss earlier this year and they really do seem made for one another. He is insanely hot, she is incredibly beautiful … what more could you ask for? Even tho it pains me to think that Channing will soon be off the market, I wish the two of them a lifetime of happiness together! Congrats!!
