In the span of just a few hours yesterday afternoon rumors began to spread like wildfire that claimed that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson broke off their relationship after suffering an epic fight on New Year’s Eve. Basing their claims on reports that the ladies were seen arguing on NYE in addition to Lindsay sightings in SoCal since NYE NOT in the company of Samantha have fueled these reports (TMZ reports simply, “TMZ has it down solid — Lindsay and Sam Ronson are officially history.”). Lindsay took to her trusty blog on her official My Space page to denounce these claims and insists that L. Ron are still very much together as a couple. And there you have it … to me, it seems like so many of these other sites are chomping at the bit for these two to break-up so they can make a bigger story out of it. I, for one, love that they are together, hope that they continue to stay together and remain happily attached to one another. Let’s face it, the ladies have been joined at the hip for most of last year (only spending very short periods of time apart). It’s only natural that they would fight and argue from time to time. I don’t necessarily consider arguing in public as a sign of dunzoness. I’m happy to hear, straight from the horse’s mouth, that L. Ron are still together, hopefully going strong. Tho, in all honesty, I don’t expect it’ll be very long until the reports of a break-up start to make the rounds again.

In recent days, new reports have come out that suggest that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are on the verge of divorce after folks started noticing that the pair were spending an awful lot of time apart. When J. Lo stopped wearing her wedding ring, the speculation intensified … one report even went to far as to claim the couple were planning to end their 4 year marriage on Valentine’s Day this coming February. In spite of these reports (or perhaps, because of these reports), LopAnthony have reportedly jetted off together to ring in the New Year together in Puerto Rico. Additionally, a rep for J. Lo has publicly denied the VD report:

So much for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s big Valentine’s Day demise. (Or so we’re being led to believe…) In the face of reports that the duo have been fighting and are headed for a split, E! News has learned exclusively that J.Lo and her hubby are spending a few days together in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Two days ago, Lopez and Anthony met up with friends and family for dinner at Marmalade, a trendy, upscale restaurant in the old-town section of San Juan. “Jennifer and Marc looked very happy, so it is hard for me to believe the rumors that their marriage is in trouble,” the eatery’s general manager, Trace Donaldson, tells E! News. “They were laughing and seemed to be having a great time.” The couple were joined by a group that included Lopez’s sister, Lynda. On Monday, the Out of Sight star’s rep denied to E! a New York Daily News report that had the seemingly cozy couple planning to announce their breakup right after Anthony’s Feb. 14 show at Madison Square Garden. “There is no merit to the article,” the rep said. Lopez was spotted Dec. 26 boarding a private flight straight to Puerto Rico out of Van Nuys Airport.

The only thing that looked suspicious to me was all that time that the couple were spending apart. There were quite a few high profile events that J. Lo attended all by herself … so either Marc decided to stay home with the kiddies or the pair were not interested in going out together. I think it’s also kinda telling when a celeb decides to go out in public not wearing their wedding ring — especially when it’s big a honkin’ diamond ring that would be noticed if it wasn’t worn. But, all of this is clearly speculation … tho, I didn’t think that Madonna and Guy Ritchie were so close to dunzoness near the end of their relationship and, well, look at them now. I suspect that the couple will stay together well beyond Valentine’s Day … even IF they are trying to plan a good time to break up, they most assuredly will not do so on VD.

On Friday TMZ reported exclusively that New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and supermodel extraordinaire Gisele Bündchen got themselves engaged to be hitched on Xmas Eve while traveling by private jet to Boston, MA … but unfortch, according to relatives in the know, the engagement never happened. Speaking to the press over the weekend, Tom Brady, Sr. (Tom’s father) denied the engagement report as “rumor, rumor, rumor …”:

Don’t believe the holiday engagement rumors swirling around supermodel Gisele Bündchen and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Brady’s father, Tom Brady Sr., told The Boston Globe on Friday that reports of his son’s engagement were “rumor, rumor, rumor … We don’t know a thing about it. Nobody told me. We talked to him and there’s nothing to say.” The Boston Herald reported that the couple strolled down Bean Town’s Beacon Street on Friday – and that Bündchen, 28, was without an engagement ring. Bündchen’s twin sister, Patricia, also denied the report, saying in an e-mail that the engagement story – which first surfaced on TMZ – is “not true.” Reached by PEOPLE, Bündchen’s rep declined to comment. Stacey James, a spokesman for the Patriots, responded, “I heard the report that he [proposed] on a plane, but I don’t think it’s true.” Still, he added, “Tom keeps his private life private.”

You know, I thought it was fishy that TMZ got the scoop about how this engagement reportedly went down because, according to their report, Tom proposed to Gisele on a private jet that was loaded with flowers and family members … and I wondered which one of the family members blabbed. All these denials from relatives in the know makes me believe that TMZ got fed a fake story. Methinks if Gisele got engaged to one of the most popular (and wealthy) sports stars in the US then she’d be showing off new new engagement bling to the whole wide world. It’s a bummer that the couple didn’t get engaged … they do make a hawt couple.

Rumors are beginning to swirl that the reported tryst that sprung up in Brazil between Madonna and model Jesus Luz has yet to run its course … word has it that Maddy will be spending at least part of her New Year’s celebrations in the company of Jesus in the next few days. Madonna, who celebrated the close of her Sticky & Sweet World Tour in São Paulo last week already made her way home to London, England to celebrate Xmas with her family … but according to Made In Brazil, Jesus has also made his way to London — most likely so he can be on hand should Madonna beckon him at any given moment. Here is, to my knowledge, one of the few photos of Madonna and Jesus together as they made their way out of her Tour Wrap party last week:

According to Brazilian tabloids, Madonna has invited model Jesus Luz to spend new year’s with her in London, even though the 21-year-old does not even have a passport yet. Rumor has it that it was photographer Steven Klein who handled the invitation. The phones at 40 Graus Models have not stopped ringing since Madonna left the country. Jesus Luz has quickly become one the most requested boys for the shows in Rio in January. Brazilian labels have been trying to cast him before his rate of R$400 a show goes up. Little do they know that his C-rate has probably already changed to a special booking by now. UPDATE: according to Sergio Mattos, owner of 40 Graus Models, Jesus Luz is already in London.

HMMM … it looks like we know that Madonna got exactly what she wanted for Xmas … and it also looks like we know who she may be kissin’ at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve. You know, word has it that Guy Ritchie has also found himself a new romantic interest of his own so I think it’s absolutely fine for Maddy to indulge a bit. Go on girl, do the damn thing. I’m kinda in love with the idea of Madonna and Jesus becoming an item … I mean, it’s so wrong and still so right ;)

Contrary to numerous reports going around that claim that Michael Jackson is in dire need of medical attention in order to save his dwindling life, Jacko himself has released a statement thru one of his representatives in order to publicly refute those claims. Speaking thru his trusted mouthpiece Dr. Tohme Tohme, Jacko calls the claims made by others about his health “total fabrication” and further reveals that Jacko is in final negotiations to appear in both a “world tour and a series of specials and appearances”. HMMM:

A spokesman for Michael Jackson released a statement on Monday denying as a “total fabrication” a report claiming that the former King of Pop needs a lung transplant due to a rare respiratory disease. The statement, attributed to Jackson’s “official and sole spokesperson, Dr. Tohme Tohme” and issued by Los Angeles firm Scoop Marketing, cites an interview with writer Ian Halperin in British newspaper the Sunday Express in which Halperin said Jackson was suffering from Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency. Halperin, who is at work on an unauthorized biography of the singer, also claims Jackson can barely speak, suffers from emphysema and internal bleeding, and has lost 95 percent of the vision in his left eye. “Concerning this author’s allegations, we would hope in the future that legitimate media will not continue to be exploited by such an obvious attempt to promote this unauthorized ‘biography,’” said the statement attributed to Tohme. “The writer’s wild allegations concerning Mr. Jackson’s health are a total fabrication,” the statement said. “Mr. Jackson is in fine health and finalizing negotiations with a major entertainment company and television network for both a world tour and a series of specials and appearances.”

Truth be told, recent picture of Michael Jackson out in public do lead credence to the claims made by Halperin that Jacko is in dire need of medical help … if not of the surgical variety than, IMHO, surely of the psychological variety. It is not a stretch of the imagination, by any means, to think that Jacko is very ill … but, I suppose we have to take the word of his official spokesperson that he is not ill. That said, I absolutely refuse to believe that the claims that Jacko is near finalizing a deal that would put him on a world tour OR that he will be appearing in “a series of specials and appearances”. No way. Even if MJ were able to take on a commitment of this scale, there surely is NOT enough interest here in the US for any of these scenarios to be at all successful. Michael Jackson is just an odd bird, period. I contend that his infrequent public emergences in and around SoCal are pretty much all we’re gonna get from him from here on out. His time has come and gone. I do hope he is not in failing health but the notion that he is planning to stage a successful comeback is laughable.

Contrary to rumors and reports going around the Interweb, Jermaine Dupri reveals that Janet Jackson is not pregs on his official blog. He also clarifies that the couple are still very much together. Speculation about the couple, who have been together for the past few years, was that they were expecting their first child together after Janet canceled a few concert dates due to a “mysterious illness” that was later explained as vertigo … so Jermaine took it upon himself to clear the air:

I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY JD FEELS THE NEED TO YELL but I’m glad to hear that he is willing to clear up any misconceptions and erroneous reports by blogging about them on his site. Truth be told, Janet is the only Jackson that I would like to see spawn so it’s unfortunate that she’s not pregs but … mebbe someday. Keep at it, Jermaine … mebbe you can get a baby in her sometime soon ;)
