Ellen & Portia Enjoy Their Honeymoon
Here are a few pics of the very newly wedded Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi enjoying their “honeymoon” together just a few days after they said “I Do” to one another at their Beverly Hills, CA home this weekend. The couple showed off their new wedding rings, it looks like Ellen wears a simple band and Portia is rockin’ the rock:
Because Ellen has to begin work on the new season of her daytime talk show, the couple couldn’t jet off and enjoy a “traditional” honeymoon right after their wedding … but you may recall that the couple did enjoy a pretty extensive pre-wedding honeymoon-type vacay in Italy earlier this summer. Instead, the couple just stepped out together as wife and wife for lunch at Real Food Daily, which is a restaurant very near their home. I love it … they’re like an old married couple already ;)

Actually they switched sides. If you look at the picture above of the two of them you can see a huge ring on Portia’s left hand. Also in the picture above you can see that Ellen is wearing a watch on her left wrist & carrying keys in her right hand. In the picture of just their hands there is no watch located on the left hand & there are keys located in the right hand. This all points the fact that they simply switched sides.

Well, all I can say is there’s no doubt who wear the pants in that family. You can love Ellen and I think she’s great but God, she’s really a dyke!

Dr Doug - you seem to be suggesting that Ellen is ‘the man’ in the relationship … first of all - neither of them are ‘the man’ because they are both women. Secondly, Portia could very well be the one who ‘wears the pants’ behind closed doors - we don’t know. Just because one Lesbian appears more ‘boyish’ than the other, does not mean she is ‘the man’ or ‘wears the pants’ or is the ‘dominant’ person in the relationship.

Lesbo here…often times the more “girly” one is actually the dominant one. (At least in my experience). Not all relationships adhere to the stereotype. :)
