Gwen Stefani Gives Birth To Her Second Child
E! News is reporting that Gwen Stefani has given birth … but is very light on the deets. In fact, the details they do provide are still unconfirmed (they’re not even sure of the baby’s gender). But, I’ve been hearing, too, that Gwen gave birth today but have been waiting for official confirmation before making the call. This report seems about as likely as any other:
E! News has confirmed Gwen Stefani gave birth this morning. We still don’t know whether it’s a boy or girl, but sources say the baby’s name is Zuma. More details to come as we get them!
Zuma sounds like a girl’s name to me … if, in fact, that is the baby’s name. Much love and congrats goes out to Gwen and Gavin Rossdale. Stay tuned for more deets and, hopefully, an official statement from the couple.
UPDATE: People magazine has official confirmation that A.) Gwen gave birth and B.) Zuma is a boy:
It’s a rock band in the making: Gwen Stefani and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their second child, a son, on Thursday in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has learned. The couple named the boy Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, a rep for Stefani says. Zuma joins the couple’s other son Kingston, who turned 2 in May.
Yay! Much congrats!!! Oh and sorry ’bout that Zuma sounds like a girl thing … but, it kinda does :)

It is about time the woman dropped that baby………..lord, she has be preggo for ages! LOL……..Maybe that is why Britney was watching her kid……..so daddy could be with mommy for the birth……. ;-)

zuma is a beach out here in CA… a pretty hardcore beach at that. i think Zuma Rossdale isnt a bad name. u could call him Zoom… i bet he’d love that one in gradeschool… :) congrats to the happy parents

i love gwen with all my heart. she is my idol and hero but im really hating this name. when i first heard Zuma i was so excited because i thought it was a girl. Zuma would be an awesome name for a girl but for a little boy?! Zuma Nesta Rock sounds like a character off The Jetsons or something.

Oops! I thought it was going to be a girl and turned out the opposite! Anyways, mom and kid are doing well and that’s what really matters though Zuma is not such a great name (hope they change their mind!) for a boy and it goes better w/ a girl. Definitely, they need a girl and then they’ll be the next Klum bunch (and cuter, sorry Heidi!)

my husband said that Nesta was Bob Marley’s middle name…i guess that’s keeping it Jamacian, lol. i’m not a big fan of Zuma but i like the Nesta Rock Rossdale.

Kingston Rossdale is a normal name. Zuma Rossdale is a weird name. All celebrities have to have at least one “WTF?” baby name, it’s like a requirement to be let into L.A. or something.

I think either Gwen or Gavin is obsessed with Bob Marley, naming one kid after his hometown, and giving the other his middle name. Maybe their third child will be named Iron Lion Zion Rossdale.
