Nine Inch Nails Do Detroit
Nine Inch Nails played a show at The Palace of Auburn Hills here in the suburbs of Detroit, MI on Saturday night and posted a few photos from the show online on their official website … here are a few of those pics:
While I’m marginally bummed that I wasn’t able to get home to Detroit in time to see NIN live at The Palace, I am very much looking forward to seeing the band play at the SeaGate Convention Center in Toledo, OH tonight. Toledo is about 50 mins. south of where my parents live so Sarah and I will be trekking down I-75 this evening to see the guys perform. The SeaGate Center isn’t much bigger than a high school gymnasium so I am very much looking forward to the intimate nature of the show. At last … I will finally be able to see Nine Inch Nails on their current Lights in the Sky Tour of North America … any Michigander/Ohioans gonna meet me in Toledo ce soir?

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again..Justin Meldal-Johnsen is one of the best bass players out there right now..He’s such a treat to watch and is one of the nicest guys in the industry..Plus he has one of the sickest fros I’ve ever seen!! Ugh..I’m so jealous! Have fun, Trent!

I’ve seen NIN at the Palace & the Knob (DTE whatev) but nothing will ever top seeing them at The State Theater (now the Fillmore). It’s always better to see anyone somewhere small but for some reason NIN was a completely different vibe & a much better show.

WOOT x10!!! I am bummed their Oakland show is sold out b/c I was too slow to get my tickets but Trent will grace us sac-towners with his presence in December!!!

I saw them Saturday at the Palace. I’ve seen them at DTE and in NY at 1994 Woodstock. This was the best concert I think I have seen ever. Total awesomeness. Great seats for my Trent Reznor viewing pleasure. He is so fricken hot I cannot stand it. I went with my husband and he kept waving his hand in front of my face because I was so mezmorized with Trent. I cannot wait to see them again! Going to bed now to dream about him (hopefully)…
