Nine Inch Nails Rock Edmonton, Canada
Pink reader Jess sends in a few pics from the Nine Inch Nails Lights in the Sky Tour concert stop at the Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta in Canada that she attended with her fiancée this week:

After the jump, check out a few photos of the performance and a portion of her report from the show …

Wow, wow, WOW! I bought my fiancée tickets to NIN’s Edmonton show, based on the fact that he has been a fan, like, forever, and had yet to see them. I knew a few songs, but not very many, so I wasn’t anticipating that I would have a fantastic time. Wow, was I wrong! This show was INCREDIBLE. Absolutely amazing. The lightshow, and screens, which made up 99% of the set, were simply awesome. I left the show a huge fan. Lemme tell ya, you will NOT be disappointed! We were just off of the floor (thankfully, as you will see, judging by photos, I don’t think my 3′ heels would have fared well on the floor!) Hope you enjoy!!
Wee! I am so excited … much, much love to Jess for sending in her pics — and I’m happy to know that Nine Inch Nails made a new fan. I am getting really geeked that I’ll be seeing NIN in just a few short weeks. Thank you again for taking the time to share your pics and for sending in your fun report :)
[thanks Jessica]

Edmonton is in Alberta, not British Cloumbia

Edmonton is in Alberta!
July 30th, 2008 at 12:21 pm
Edmonton ALBERTA… ya moron
July 30th, 2008 at 12:26 pm
Moron? was that called for? plus, we’re talking about Alberta so you should of used Mormon instead.
July 30th, 2008 at 12:29 pm
where did you get Edmonton, BC from? Mormon… HAHAHAHA… good one!!!
July 30th, 2008 at 12:34 pm
i live in Alberta… i didnt realize there was that many Mormon’s here… really?
p.s.
i originate from Saskatchewan… where its so flat, you can see your dog running away for days.. literally.

detroit and edmonton are very similar cities. Working class, lots of factories, hockey is a religion. This guy should know better, fucking Americancentric bastard.

~Cutie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardston,_Alberta
Cardston was settled by Mormons and is kind of like “little Utah”
Seeing as Trent’s not Canadian, I think the mistake is just that and not really a big deal! No worries!
However, as a BC girl, I am opposed to any Alberta city being associated with BC. I don’t like “Little Texas” (Alberta) being linked with my province! Ha ha
July 30th, 2008 at 12:47 pm
Wow, easy mistake for someone that doesn’t live here. I live in Alberta as well, but I don’t feel the need to call people names.
What state is Detroit in? Wait, no is Detroit a state itself? I dunno, LOL.
July 30th, 2008 at 12:52 pm
it’s true.
About the Mormons, i mean! not the bastard thing.
everyone calm down. can you honestly say that you’re from Canada and that you’ve memorized all of the major U.S. cities in each of the 52 states? i can’t. plus i’ve never been to Detroit, Wisconsin so your comparison means nothing to me.
July 30th, 2008 at 12:58 pm
“detroit and edmonton are very similar cities”
So because they have similar work/living conditions means that Trent should automatically know where Edmonton is located?
I’m sorry, but your logic confuses me!
July 30th, 2008 at 1:36 pm
Location FAIL. Oh well, at least Canada got a mention. We forgive Trent on account of his awesome-ness.
July 30th, 2008 at 1:51 pm
Edmonton. ALBERTA sorry had to correct
July 30th, 2008 at 2:07 pm
Cant resist either. EDMONTON, ALBERTA!!!!! NOT BC!!! LOL!!!!!! Funny trent. Don’t worry about the haters.
July 30th, 2008 at 2:12 pm
I don’t even like Edmonton and this bothered me…
I don’t think that there are that many mormons here compared to every other religious group.
July 30th, 2008 at 2:30 pm
i was just crackin’ wise-like.
there are a lot of morons in Edmonton too!
…like me!
July 30th, 2008 at 2:57 pm
the show looks amazing! i can’t wait!!! my shows are coming up.
Trent - you should check out this interview:
http://www.q101.com/av/trent.mp3
He talks about the possibility of a year zero tv show and jokes that he’s 70 years old. :)

July 30th, 2008 at 4:33 pm
I love NIN, I’ll be seeing them on September 3rd, it’s going to be fantastic and I already knew that. I always leave their shows wanting more, Trent is a performer that one does not forget.
July 30th, 2008 at 5:14 pm

July 30th, 2008 at 5:32 pm
HEY TRENT!
Thanks for putting up my pics and my story!!
I can not get over how awesome the show was. I am still all goo-ey from it.
July 30th, 2008 at 5:56 pm
I love this concert. I went last time in Edmonton for the ” With teeth ” tour, and this one out did it. I’m a super crazy fan and now, so is my Boyfriend. Thanks Trent for being so dedicated to your fans and always giving us your best. We are never disapointed. Keep up the good work, hope to see you on tour again soon.

I just saw NIN last night at the Calgary, Alberta Pentgrowth Saddledome and it was SICK. My husband was not a fan but totally is now, which is so exciting since I’ve been in love since I first heard Pretty Hate Machine in 1989. Trent really knows how to up the ante from tour to tour. I’ve seen 3 concerts and this, by far, was the best!!
July 31st, 2008 at 12:47 am
i live in edmonton… and still cant believe it even got a mention. WOOT YAH EDMONTON!!!
July 31st, 2008 at 7:41 am
Aww, Trent, I’m from Edmonton too and disappointed you got the province wrong… at least you could have googled it, lol.
Awesome that Edmonton got a little shout out though :D.. tired of being linked to the hockey team that the bastard Mike Comrie, Hilary Duff’s boyfriend, played for.
And..what’s so bad about mormons??
July 31st, 2008 at 8:12 pm
Ok all i have to say is WOW! are you retarted Trent?? Sure we don’t remember all 52 states (canadians) or all the major cities, but some of us have the common sense to google where Edmonton is (for say)
BTW, don’t be hatin on Edmonton - it’s an awesome city with West Edmonton Mall (best mall EVER!) with like everything in it…
Oh and just because it’s known for being “Little Texas” or for having lots of Mormons (whatever that came from i have no idea…) Us canadians don’t judge you american idiots for pumping out sick celebrities such as Heidi Montag or Britney Spears who are WAAY overrated… for anything they do.
July 31st, 2008 at 11:26 pm
Guys, he fixed it. It says Alberta now, not BC.
August 1st, 2008 at 7:37 am
retarted?! good grief.
August 1st, 2008 at 1:24 pm
wow.. what’s with the insults?? Trent just posting information sent to him and happened to list our sister province.. show a little class here people..
I was pleasantly suprised to see Edmonton *huggles city* on PitNB though ;D
