Shia LaBeouf Busted … Again!
OY! The one day that I am unable to be near my computer to blog Shia LaBeouf has to, not only, get busted … but get busted for DUI. AND, homie got nabbed with a flipped over truck and an injured hand that required surgery … and somehow managed to avoid felony charges — that’s a story!!! This time around, Shia’s mugshot has not (or has yet) been released so here is his last mugshot from when he was arrested in Chicago last year for trespassing and the deets from his latest brush with the law which TMZ was the first to report:
Shia LaBeouf, in trouble again and this time it’s really serious. TMZ has learned he’s been arrested for suspicion of DUI. Law enforcement sources tell us LaBeouf was involved in a car accident at about 3:00 AM at the corner of La Brea and Fountain in Hollywood. We’re told Shia made a left turn in front of another car and the two collided, causing Shia’s car to roll. Paramedics were called to the scene and both parties were taken to a local hospital, but no major injuries were sustained. LaBeouf was placed under arrest on suspicion of felony DUI after we’re told he exhibited “outward signs” of intoxication at the scene. UPDATE: We now have more info. A law enforcement source tells TMZ deputies are at the hospital right now, checking on the injuries of the victim and Shia. If the victim’s injuries are serious, Shia will be booked on suspicion of felony DUI. If the injuries are minor, Shia will be cited and released on misdemeanor DUI.
And we know by now that Shia has evaded felony charges so the implication is that his injuries, altho requiring surgery, are minor enough for him to only be facing misdemeanor DUI charges. A witness tells us he heard a loud crash around 245 AM, then the sound of Shia’s truck rolling over. The witness said he heard what he thought was a girl screaming “F**k,” among other things. When he got down to scene, Shia was already out of the car and the female riding with him was crawling out of the drivers side of the truck. The truck was smoking, making noise and still running. The driver of the other car was also out of the car by this time. Shia and the female stood over by a wall while people were checking to see if everyone was okay. The witness said unlike most of the wrecks he’s seen in the dangerous intersection, no one was cursing or yelling at each other. It took the cops 4-5 minutes to arrive at the scene. Two ambulances — along with one fire truck — showed up, and all parties involved walked to an ambulance unassisted. There were no breathalyzers or tests done at the scene.
Damn … homeboy got lucky that he only walked way from this wreck with a minorly injured hand and the evasion of felony charges. I expect the next couple days won’t be easy for Mr. LaBeouf. I gotta say, this news is disappointing … Shia has been riding high in the past couple of years with successful movies like Disturbia, Transformers and Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull. It’s disheartening to learn that the young, very talented actor is able to be so frivolous with his life. Drunk driving is one of those deadly crimes that not only threatens the safety of the individual but also the safety of others who happen to be on the road with the reckless driver. This is sad news.

That’s insane! It’s too bad when young stars who have so much potential and talent do stupid things like this. We lose people every day to drunk driving and I hope people can learn from things like this. Life’s too short… and Shia can afford a cab, so call one!
I’m glad there were no fatalities…

This is sad news. I adore Shia and I hope this knocked some sense into him. He needs to shapen up and fast. He made a very dumb decision. He is lucky no one was seriously hurt or even killed. I’m glad it was only minor injuries.
Drunk driving is stupid! Plain and simple. Don’t do it. Drink responsibly. Get a designated driver. Don’t drink and drive.
Call a cab next time, Shia!!

I for one do NOT adore this kid…I hope that he “wakes up” out of his Alcoholic denial VERY soon–before he KILLS someone! I think his dad or other relative is an Alcoholic–guess what, Shia–it appears YOU are, too!

:( I’m so disappointed, I want to love Shia so bad (I’ve been a fan since his Even Stevens days!! ahh my 13 year old crush on goofy Louis Stevens never ended) but he seems to be doing stupid stuff all the time….boo, get your act together dude.

Kathleen, actually it’s more serious. His dad was a heroin addict 7 Shia saw it first hand when he was a kid trying to help him detox. If he’s not careful he’s gonna end up like his daddy!

The female in the car with him was Australian actress Isabel Lucas, most known for her role in long running Australian series Home and Away as Tasha.
Isabel is Shia’s co-star in a new movie they’re doing together. Isabel is also going out with Entourage star Adrien Grenier, and this accident left him less than impressed that his girlfriend of several months was out with Shia in the middle of the night
