Miley Cyrus along with her folks Billy Ray and Tish and her Nana Cyrus spent the early part of their Sunday yesterday at church before they convened en masse at a restaurant afterward for lunch … as you might expect, Justin Gaston (the Cyrus family leech) was also in attendance at yesterday’s Cyrus family activities with Holy Bible in hand. HMMM … by the looks of the sitch, Nana Cyrus likes it when JG tags along … while Mama Cyrus don’t look too pleased:

Of course, all of this is pure speculation on my part … but Nana Cyrus looks like a randy old bird. I can see her wantin’ to cop of a feel of Justin’s hot bod. Mama Tish, I must say, does look like she’s kinda over the omnipresence of Justin Gaston at every.single.family.outing. the Cyruses have whether they’re in LA, NYC, Tennessee, wherever! I can imagine that it would be tiresome to have a tagalong tagging along at every turn (even if he’s a hottie like Justin Gaston). It’s kinda like the family has adopted the lad like a stray … a stray that Miley really, really likes to have with her at all times. Ah, the power that those Disney kids can wield when they’re the family bread winner. Who knows if this Jiley thing will last the year but … and I’m only speculating here … I wouldn’t be surprised if someone got into a little trubs somewhere down the line. I’m just sayin’ …

When last we saw underwear model extraordinaire Justin Gaston, he was cheesily posing in the Cyrus family Xmas photo with a heinous case of bed head and a Hannah Montana t-shirt that matched perfectly with his much younger, underage female friend Miley Cyrus. The Xmas photo was, I believe, snapped in Tennessee on December 25 but the family has since returned to SoCal … and Justin Gaston (like a sad, needy puppy) followed along as well. These two are either gonna get pregs/married (in that order) or the Cyrus folks are gonna get so sick and tired of Justin always being around that they are gonna kick him to the curb … of course, Miley will prolly go with him and then they’ll get pregs/married (in that order) and ruin her career. Ahhh … young lurve. Wherever do you suppose Justin Gaston will show up next?

A new holiday photo has surfaced that shows the entire Cyrus family (sans Billy Ray who was most probably taking the photo) along with underwear model Justin Gaston posing together on Xmas morn. What is most interesting about the pic is that Miley and Justin are wearing the same Hannah Montana t-shirts in the photo … that and the fact that Justin has got a mad case of bed head. I wonder where he slept on Xmas Eve?

Man … I wonder if Miley opened her Xmas package from Justin on Xmas morning or the night before. Yeah, depending on the package, my guess is the night before.

16-year old Miley Cyrus, who participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC yesterday, got a jump start on her Xmas shopping this week by hittin’ up the big stores on 5th Ave. in Manhattan this week … and she brought along her 20-year old boytoy/BFF Justin Gaston along with her … here are a few pics:

I suppose I could make a joke about the danger of traveling across state lines with a minor but since the Cyrus parents were along for the ride, well, I guess the joke wouldn’t really work. I understand that the Cyrus family and Justin Gaston all stayed at the same hotel … which makes me wonder what the sleeping arrangements were. I mean, I’m guessing that Justin didn’t actually have to pay for his hotel room but did he get a room all to himself or did he have to shack up with any particular member of the Cyrus family? I get that Miley likes to say that she and Justin are “just friends” but you gotta wonder how close these “friends” really are — and how much support they get from her parents. It’s all still very creepy to me but … that’s showbiz, I guess.

The hottest new “it” non-couple comprised of (the finally) 16-year old Miley Cyrus and (the still) 20-year old underwear model Justin Gaston got all color-coordinated when they stepped out together in Glendale, CA earlier this week with her family. Have Jiley decided that they’ve finally reached the point in their non-relationship where they have to start dressing alike?

In actuality, Jiley and co. were all wearing black outfits because they were making their way into a funeral … something you might not have guessed judging by the happy looks on their faces. But lest you think it was a day of (presumed) sadness for the young lurvers pals, the crew quickly made their way from the funeral home to lunch at Rockycola Cafe before heading over to CBS Studios for Miley’s performance on Dancing with the Stars — in their Porsche. Last night the American Music Awards were handed out on live TV at the Nokia Theater here in Los Angeles, CA. Stars of varying importance made their way into downtown LA last night to walk the red carpet, participate in the show or mug for the cameras in the press room afterward. Chris Brown was one of the night’s big winners … Kanye West was one of the night’s biggest wieners … and Beyoncé, bless her heart, gave the best live performance of the night. Chris Brown was the big winner at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, surprising himself most of all. “I don’t know what to say. I would have given it to Coldplay,” said Brown, who won artist of the year, male pop/rock artist and male soul/R&B artist. Kanye West, still sore at losing male rap/hip-hop artist last year, won the trophy this time – then said Lil Wayne deserved it more. “I want to give this award to Wayne,” he said. “If it was last year it would have been my award.” It was West’s second trophy of the night, following his win for rap/hip-hop album, for Graduation. “It’s our responsibility as musicians to push music to the point it was in the ’60s and ’70s,” he said. “I want to be Elvis.” Host Jimmy Kimmel, who had made West’s ego a running joke, quipped: “Elvis died on the toilet with half a jelly doughnut in his mouth. You may want to rethink that.”

Um, why does Kanye have to be so douchey? I mean, seriously. It’s like he just cannot stop himself from acting like a total a-hole on the public stage. I just don’t get it.

The show climaxed with Keys performing “Superwoman” with Queen Latifah and opera star Kathleen Battle, and ending with a large photo projected on a screen of incoming first lady Michelle Obama. In a big night for American Idol alums, Daughtry – winner of three trophies last year – picked up another this year for pop/rock group, while former Idol champ Jordin Sparks won for adult contemporary music, and Carrie Underwood won for country album for Carnival Ride. Taylor Swift, uncomfortably sharing L.A.’s Nokia Theatre auditorium with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas, won for female country artist, and Rihanna got two awards for pop/rock female artist and female soul R&B artist … Music’s A-listers were out in force as the show featured blockbuster performances by Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Rihanna, West, birthday girl Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers, who also won the breakthrough artist award. And Justin Timberlake made a surprise appearance to introduce award of merit recipient Annie Lennox.

Much congrats to all the winners this year but, I gotta say, the “prestige” associated with winning an American Music Award seems to have diminished a bit — after all, the soundtrack to the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks took home an award last night.

For me, tho, the highlight was Beyoncé’s live performance of her hit single Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It). Homegirl turned that mutha OUT! After the jump, watch video of her performance in full … (more…)
