Xtina Aguilera Launches Her ‘Inspire’d Fragrance
Xtina Aguilera was on hand at Macy’s, Herald Square in NYC yesterday afternoon to make an in-store appearance to launch and then sign bottles of her newest fragrance called Inspire. As you may recall, the first promo picture released for the fragrance left much to be desired but the television commercial turned out very well, I thought. Here are pics from Xtina’s appearance at Macy’s yesterday:
Oh, Xtina. For the life of me I will never understand the always-too-much lipstick and the superflat, too-bleached hair combo that you seem to love so much. But, it’s your thing and you always work it out so … work it out. Xtina’s hubby Jordan Bratman and her son Max Liron accompanied Xtina to NYC for her fragrance launch but they were not in attendance at her in-store appearance. She did step out on the town with them this past Monday afternoon, tho. After the jump, check out a few pics of Xtina and her fam out and about earlier this week — you’ll never believe how big Max has gotten in the past few months …
It’s insane how big Max has gotten! The last time we saw the little tyke was back in May, Xtina was cradling him in her arms for a new Rock the Vote ad campaign and he was still very much a baby … and now he’s a big boy. He looks like he has his father’s facial features with his mother’s fairness. He’s a cutie.

Her hair is just too flat, it is not flattering. She looks a lot better in the smiling pic. The other one she looks like Donatella Versace. UGH!

Why can’t we give her credit for SINGING LIVE, being an actual ARTIST, and most importantly being a FUNCTIONAL, LOVING MOTHER to her son? She may look a little worn around the edges, but perhaps that is because she’s actually being a full-time parent and still working, unlike our other “favorite” former pop star turned trainwreck, who may look a little better but still doesn’t have custody of her kids and is currently partying poolside in Vegas instead of concentrating on the responsibilities of adulthood.

i swear im one of the only people who doesnt take a cheap shot at poor christina. so he styoles a bit over the top, it works for her, i personally think she looks pretty good.
as for Max, he’s turned into quite the cute baby. hes adorable.

I’m with Nicole and A. So she likes to wear bold makeup… whatever, it’s her thing. And of course she’s NEVER going to get credit for being an actual artist with actual talent and original music, people love dancey mindless music duh. I thought we knew that actual talent was yesterday’s news?

Ever since Max was born she has looked like a man in drag! and in the second lot of photos she looks 20 pounds heavier. Britney is certainly kicking her ass again when it comes to looking hot!

I have to say, I love me some Christina, but in that first picture and a couple of the others, if asked, I would have SWORE up and down that those were WAX figures of her!!

why is she an ‘artist” just because she sings live? She is so boring and not creative. She sings stupid songs that other people wrote ( I don’t buy co-writing for a minute!)and she constantly bites off of Gwen Stefani’s ( and now Donatella Versace’s) look. Sure she can scream a high E-but that is hardly being an artist. Its just a girl who can scream notes that most people can’t-and don’t want to.

You know what’s annoying… Britney and Christina are SO DIFFERENT both personally and professionally. They have been completely different performers going in completely different directions for YEARS… arguably even when they first came out in the 90s, but there will always be people who cannot realize that. No one ever compares Britney and Christina to Beyonce when they are all almost the exact same age (Christina is older than the other 2 by a year) and all do some sort of pop music.

Christina is an amazing singer. I just wish she’d ditch the overdone hair and makeup (she does seem to have eased up ever so slightly on the faux tanner, thank goodness). On the rare occasions she’s captured au naturale, she’s adorable!

Looking like that after squeezing out a screaming little brat is something I KNOW I won’t get to enjoy. I think she looks great. Why don’t we all post pictures of ourselves for comparison. I bet Christina wins. ;)
