Places You Shouldn’t Take Your Kids

It can be a bit crazy when you realize the places some people take their kids. It’s not uncommon for us to be out somewhere that’s not exactly a child-appropriate environment and spot a parent with their child. Before taking your kid somewhere, think about the effects that might have on them, no matter where it is. Often places we think are innocent can make us doubt our decisions when we look at them from a different perspective. Now with that being said, there are some places that you should never bring your kids to, and here are a few of them.

Public Bathrooms

This one can be quite hard to achieve, considering that sometimes your child can’t hold it anymore, and public bathrooms are the only bathrooms you have available. Public bathrooms are a hotbed of filth and bacteria, and knowing children, it would take less than three seconds for them to start touching the walls, picking things up off the floor, and generally being messy. Try avoiding public bathrooms whenever possible. If you must use one, keep an extremely close eye on your kids make sure they’re careful not to get in contact with anything, and wash their hands thoroughly after.

Bars

This tracks back to taking some time for yourself to have fun and socialize. Sadly, a lot of people don’t understand that taking your children with you to bars is not an appropriate thing to do. Get a family member or a babysitter to watch them while you go out. No child needs to witness a place where people practice heavy drinking.

Expensive Stores

This one is a bit puzzling, but there are some pretty good reasons why you shouldn’t bring your child with you when visiting an expensive store. Children are very active and easily excitable. This doesn’t exactly make them very subtle or careful. If you can’t afford the items at the stores you’re looking at. Then it’s best to avoid browsing them when you have young children along with you. Children can easily damage something that might be very expensive, and the consequences of dealing with that can be a real hassle.

Plan your trip ahead so that there will be places where you can take your children.  Look for places that are kid-friendly.
