Should You Get CBD Bath Bombs?

Everyone has their own method to relax. Some people want to immerse themselves in a beautiful book. Others want to listen to music, cook, meditate, or even do aromatherapy. All of those are great, but what if there is something that is even better. Science has confirmed that taking long baths is one of the most relaxing things to do. Adding a bit of CBD makes them even better.  You may even consider putting CBD bath bombs in your bathwater.

For the last few decades, there has been a war on drugs. During it, people were forced to believe that marijuana is also a drug. You could put it into that classification if you consider the small psychedelic effects that it has. But, it has more helpful and medicinal qualities that make it more suitable for medicine. You could say that the only side effect is getting high sometimes. CBD has many more benefits that people are discovering.

Marijuana has two main components. One of those is cannabidiol, also known as CBD, and tetrahydrocannabinol, which is also known as THC. The latter is the one with all the psychedelic effects. Apart from these two, marijuana also has at least a hundred more different medicinal compounds. However, most of the benefits can be reaped from CBD.

We process cannabidiol through our livers, and it gets metabolized quite quickly. We have an endocannabinoid system in our bodies that reacts well to this compound. Having a surplus of it makes our brains numb down our nervous system. It helps you feel more relaxed, and it helps to reduce anxiety. Unlike THC, this is not psychedelic at all, and you only feel the beneficial properties.

You’ve probably seen bath bombs in the store or online ads. They look like little balls, and when you put them in a tub of water, they start to dissolve. When they do, you start smelling an explosion of different scents, which make your bathroom smell amazing. There are many different types of bath bombs. Some are for anxiety, back pain, sleepiness, or even appetite.

If you think of a problem in your head, there’s probably a bath bomb for it. Now you might be asking yourself, what’s the deal with ones infused with cannabidiol. Well, that’s because they work better than anything else. Allow us to explain. First of all, the best way to reap the benefits of CBD is oils. Travel Daily News has some great tips for traveling with CBD oil.

You put a few drops of oil under your tongue, wait for a minute or two, and then swallow it. However, new trends are emerging. There has been a surge in topicals and gels. If you feel pain in any part of your body, you rub it, and the pain magically disappears. In the past year, the market for gels and topicals exploded, everyone wants to try them and get rid of the pain they feel.

Well, some people thought of making CBD bath bombs that work just like topicals and gels. You lie down in your tub, put on some music, and let the aromatherapy and cannabidiol do the rest of the work. They help with sore muscles, inflammation, pain, as well as skin health. However, they can be a bit on the pricey side. So, should you really invest in them?

What are the benefits?

There are two types of people in the world. One type wants cold baths and cold showers. That has a lot of benefits since it boosts the immune system, and it wakes you up. That’s perfect for mornings since you get a boost of energy, and you don’t feel tired throughout the day. The other type of people thinks that hot baths and hot showers came straight from heaven.

Hot baths help to reduce your stress, and they also reduce inflammation. You get to soak your body in a bit of steamy and scented pool filled with essential oils. That’s because bath bombs are perfect after a long day at work when you want to clear your head and go straight to bed afterward. There are a few studies that compared the effects of hot baths against exercise.

The results showed that the people who exercised burned more calories than the ones who took a bath. That makes sense since ones were moving, and the others were not. However, the people who took showers burned the same amount of calories in a half-hour walk. That might be because hot water opens up our skin pores and helps you sweat more.

Not only that, but it also heats up your body, so you’re already in a state where you burn more fat. Of course, more studies need to be done to claim this for sure. But still, adding some CBD to relieve more stress and help you with inflammation will only do you good.
